University registration begins - The process, in two rounds. The steps to follow
The first phase of university applications begins today. The Minister of Education, Ogerta Manastirliu, has published all the steps that high school graduates must follow to register for one of the branches where they have been declared winners at public or private universities.
All high school graduates who have won one or more branches will have 48 hours to make their choice.
Initially, young people must identify themselves at the Graduate Corner using their matura ID, to check their status in real time. The winning branches will be marked in green, while the branches where they are declared winners in the next phase will be marked in yellow. The deadline for registration is 48 hours. In case of failure to register within this deadline, the right to register in this phase will be lost.
For registration, the graduate must appear at the relevant university with their ID card, high school diploma, transcript, and two photographs. For those graduates who register in one branch, but in the second round win a branch that suits them better, they are free to deregister and choose another university.
Meanwhile, this academic year has a higher number of applications to higher education institutions.
