US Embassy, important announcement: Apply now for visas to attend the World Cup
The US Embassy in Albania has issued an important announcement for all Albanians who want to attend the 2026 World Cup matches, which will take place in the USA, Mexico and Canada, from June 11 to July 19 next year.
"The United States is enabling safe and secure travel for international sports fans interested in coming to the United States for the FIFA World Cup 2020, and we are fully prepared to process visitor visa applications. We encourage foreign travelers who need U.S. visas to apply now," the U.S. Embassy in Tirana wrote.
Albania, together with Kosovo, achieved a historic qualification in the play-off phase of the World Cup and will now have to win 2 more matches to be part of the most important competition in world football. The play-off phase matches will take place at the end of March.
