AKPA: Youth Guarantee opportunities for youth employment - Employment programs added 7,451 young people employed in 10 months

The National Employment and Skills Agency announces that through mediation, employment promotion programs and professional training, over the last 10 months, concrete employment, training and self-employment opportunities have been created for thousands of young people across the country.
According to data from the National Employment and Skills Agency, 7,451 young people up to the age of 29 have been employed thanks to the mediation of public employment services, of which 612 through the Youth Guarantee pilot program. This program marks an important step in the modernization of active labor market policies, offering orientation, mediation and jobs adapted to their professional profile.
Within the framework of the Employment Promotion Programs, 1,203 young people have been included in support schemes aimed at creating professional experience and increasing opportunities for sustainable integration into the labor market.
Over 4,500 girls and boys were enrolled in grade 10 in Vocational Education, while the transfer process is still ongoing. In addition, 6,290 young people have followed a vocational training course, gaining practical skills required by the labor market.
Meanwhile, another result is related to the promotion of new entrepreneurship. Through the Self-Employment Program, 120 girls and boys have managed to open their own ventures, taking the first steps towards creating businesses.
The National Employment and Skills Agency underlines that support for young people remains a priority, further enabling their training and secure employment.
