Will "MIRA" be able to track informality? - Expert Llakaj: Artificial intelligence identifies businesses from taxes to customs!
The State Labor Inspectorate will be able to use the Intelligence and Risk Assessment Matrix (MIRA) to track all those entities or enterprises that operate informally.
Referring to the International Labor Organization, MIRA will serve to more quickly identify undeclared work and more.
But, unlike static systems, MIRA can be improved by advancing over time.
Also, according to the International Labor Organization, with over 12,000 inspections conducted annually in Albania and data collected on more than 100 variables for each inspection, MIRA's machine learning and forecasting capabilities become stronger.
But according to experts, how effective will this practice of tracking businesses through artificial intelligence be in Albania?
But how can artificial intelligence track businesses that operate informally or in undeclared work?
According to the International Labor Organization, if "MIRA" is applied, it will improve the prediction of undeclared work by 30%, compared to traditional tracking methods.
Meanwhile, the predictive power of "MIRA" focuses on 70% of inspections which are planned based on risk assessment and data-driven insights.
Among the sectors that operate informally are agriculture, construction, trade, etc. In the last months of last year, the Albanian government undertook an anti-informality campaign in which businesses or enterprises that operated with undeclared wages would be tracked.
