September 30, deadline for the self-employment program - Grants of up to 1 million lek for new business ideas
The National Employment and Skills Agency announces that September 30th is the deadline for all unemployed job seekers with a clear business idea to apply for support through the self-employment program to turn their idea into reality.
The program subsidizes all those selected through a fair and competitive process with a business start-up grant of up to 1 million lek. Meanwhile, individuals will be trained and supported by qualified experts, as well as have support in developing a consolidated business plan.
At a time when many young men and women have innovative ideas, this program offers a springboard to take them forward and turn them into sustainable businesses. This program aims to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and economic development in the country, by providing not only financial but also professional support.
To apply for this program, the applicant must meet several criteria: Be an unemployed job seeker registered with the local employment structure; have a business idea. Also, the application is made on the e-Albania platform, through the “Request for participation in the self-employment program” service. Applicants must fill out the relevant form and submit the necessary documentation.
