Trade between Albania and the United Kingdom continued to expand during 2025, with significant growth in several key product categories. Data for the four quarters of last year show that machinery, industrial equipment and pharmaceuticals dominated British exports to Albania, while clothing, beverages and agricultural products led Albania's exports to the UK.
According to statistics, the most exported product from the United Kingdom to Albania was cars, with a value of 4.6 million pounds. In second place was specialized machinery for industry, with 2.5 million pounds, marking a strong increase of 50.6% compared to the previous year.
Also, exports of various food products, beverages and tobacco each reached around 2 million pounds. Meanwhile, medicinal and pharmaceutical products recorded one of the highest annual increases, by 58.8%, reaching a value of 1.9 million pounds.
On the other side of trade, Albania exported the most clothing to the United Kingdom, with a value of 1.8 million pounds, 6% more than a year earlier. Beverages and tobacco ranked second with 1.5 million pounds, while exports of vegetables and fruits reached 1.2 million pounds.
A significant increase was also observed in processed mineral products, whose exports increased by 63%, reaching 880 thousand pounds. Meanwhile, grain exports to the British market recorded a more modest increase of 5.1%, worth 830 thousand pounds.
