"The Tirana - Durrës expansion will be completed in December" - Balluku: Ambitious deadline, currently 30% of the works have been completed
"The expansion of the Tirana - Durrës highway in the first 5 km is intended to be completed in December of this year." During the inspection of the works by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku, it was announced that the works have currently reached 30%.
Balluku also announced that new entrances to the highways in the north of the country are being studied, including the Arbri road.
In parallel, the works being carried out on the Kombinat - Ndroq - Plepa road axis, which is in the first phase of reconstruction, were also inspected.
The rehabilitation of this road will continue in three phases, while part of the investment is the reconstruction of the Beshiri Bridge, which will eliminate all curves, increasing road safety.
During the inspections, it was also announced that the traffic monitoring center for the first 200 kilometers is ready to start operating.
