ZAN'ART- “Albanian Crafts from Tradition to Modernity”!
AIDA in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation will hold tomorrow ZAN'ART - "Albanian Crafts from Tradition to Modernity", an initiative that combines tradition with innovation to build new bridges between generations. This special event will bring together the skills and passion of our artisans.
This event aims not only to promote, but also to interact with target groups interested in their products, considering the expansion of markets. Through meetings and workshops, they will have the opportunity to present their products and businesses to a selected audience such as hospitality-tourism, agrotourism and target groups interested in the handicraft sector, enabling the expansion of markets. On the other hand, the organization of discussion tables with sector actors and state institutions will address the challenges of handicrafts in Albania and strategic plans. A unique opportunity for promotion, interaction and discussion.
MISSION
“Zan'Art” aims to create a living bridge between generations, restoring Albanian craftsmanship to its rightful place in society – not simply as a craft, but as a living form of cultural heritage. This event will serve as a pedestal for the artisans, those who with passion and patience preserve and transmit our national values. Every stitch, carving, knitting or dyeing carries a story – an ancient spirit that speaks of our identity, of the roots and the soul of this country.
TARGET GROUP
The participation of 40 exhibitors in ZAN'ART represents an excellent opportunity for the development of crafts inherited from generation to generation and is a call to appreciate the beauty created by hand. This important event will bring together over 200 participants, starting from Albanian artisans, municipalities of various cities, cultural institutions (such as: Museum, Academy of Arts, etc.), artisan businesses, traders of handicraft products, partners and supporters of this sector, as well as supporting institutions, such as chambers of commerce, embassies, and development organizations.
RESULTS TO BE ACHIEVED
• Promoting Albanian handicrafts and traditional craftsmanship that represents our cultural identity.
• Promoting the preservation and development of crafts inherited from generation to generation.
• Enriching Albania's tourism offer by offering authentic products and unique experiences to visitors.
• Raising awareness about the cultural and economic importance of crafts.
• Increasing demand for artisanal products in the domestic and international markets.
