President Bajram Begaj votes: Citizens should freely express their will!

The country's President Bajram Begaj exercised his right to vote at the 9-year school "Kongresi i Lushnjes" in Tirana.

In a statement to the media, Begaj called on citizens to express their will.

"Electoral processes are important for citizens, for the country and for democracy, but this day has a special significance due to the fact that we have opened negotiations for EU membership. The elections must meet the best standards. This day should be a celebration, where citizens should freely express their will, without pressure and with the responsibility that their voice will be heard. Likewise, the administration and counting process should be the same."
