CEC appeal: Candidates should not enter the notification centers
The Central Election Commission has received reports from the field that candidates for MPs have requested to enter polling stations. “We would like to inform you that the presence of candidates in polling stations is clearly prohibited by the Electoral Code.
"Candidates must strictly respect this legal prohibition. They and other political representatives must be the first to contribute to the integrity of the electoral process," the CEC statement reads.
Meanwhile, representatives of the majority have denounced in Fier the entry of DP candidates into the voting centers. According to the announcement, candidate Luan Baçi was photographed near the "Petro Sota" school in Fier, where voting centers number 3024 and 3028 are located, while Baçi himself voted at voting center number 3033.
Likewise, candidate Zana Numani was at the polling station near the "Andon Xoxa" school, in the "29 Nëntori" neighborhood. In the municipality of Lushnja, candidate Eduard Sharka was photographed at several polling stations.
