Only 13.1% of those whose license is revoked regain it - DPSHTRR: Procedure, re-registration from scratch at the driving school
The next retesting session has been held for drivers who have lost their driving license due to serious violations of the Highway Code.
According to data from the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, the results of this session show a low success rate. In this session, a total of 52 candidates were re-registered, but only 32 of them physically appeared to take the exam. Of these, only 8 candidates managed to successfully pass the test and regain the right to drive.
According to the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, since the launch of this campaign in June 2022, a total of 1,994 candidates have been re-registered in driving schools, but only 263 of them or 13.1% have regained their driving license, returning to the road as more conscientious drivers. Meanwhile, these results prove the high level of difficulty of the test, to return to the road as a driver.
Also, the DPSHTRR calls on citizens to prepare properly through the Code of Conduct Program and to practice with online simulations of the theoretical test, in order to regain their driving license.
