The job market in motion - Which professions are most in demand according to education?

The National Employment and Skills Agency has published the latest data on the most in-demand occupations in the labor market for the period September-November, a period that usually includes increased employment movement in several key sectors of the economy. The data shows that employer demand varies significantly depending on the level of education, reflecting market developments and the most obvious labor shortages.
According to the data, for people with higher education, the private sector continues to seek specialized professionals. The most sought-after professions are economists, managers, communication specialists, software developers, business services managers, construction engineers and human resources specialists. This shows the increasing demand for professions related to technology, management and business development, sectors that are constantly growing.
For people with secondary education, the market presents a high demand for traditional service and craft professions. Among the most sought-after are waiters, shop assistants, carpenters, drivers, bartenders and mechanics. These professions constitute a stable part of the market, especially in cities with high commercial and tourist activity.
For job seekers with little or no education, employers report a high need for basic but essential roles in the economy, such as cleaners, kitchen helpers, construction workers, tailors, manual laborers, and support workers. These occupations continue to be among the most sought-after, especially due to labor shortages and high mobility in these sectors.
According to AKPA, this data helps to understand current labor market trends and sectors where growth or difficulty in filling vacancies is expected, guiding young people and job seekers towards the most sought-after professions in the country.
