From Ola Mitre

Free market, energy prices for 2025 - FTL approves tariffs for 10 kV voltage,

The Free Market Supplier, part of the OSHEE group, has approved the tariffs that it will apply to customers at 10kV voltage, who have entered the liberalized energy market from January 1, 2025.

While inviting this category of businesses to sign supply contracts with this company, it is announced that the price that will be applied is 18.34 lek/kWh, excluding VAT, for the entire year 2025.

In total, there are 2,600 10kV customers who must sign a supply contract with one of the operators licensed by the Energy Regulatory Authority for the supply of electricity, among which is the public company FTL.

Meanwhile, a short while ago, the ERE also appealed to businesses that have met the criteria to enter the liberalized energy market, to find and contract their energy supplier, according to the list of licensed entities found on the online website of this department.

Meanwhile, ERE brought to attention that for a period of 60 days this category of businesses can be supplied by the Supplier of Last Resort at a regulated price, ensuring that their energy is not interrupted. This means that the supplier selection process must be completed by February 2025.

The entry into the free market for 2,600 businesses followed last year's liberalization of around 2,100 businesses connected to 20 kV voltage, while earlier businesses connected to 35 kV voltage were also disconnected.
