Albanian tradition in the "heart" of Geneva - Albanian stand at the Intellectual Property Fair
The General Directorate of Industrial Property has announced the opening of the tender for the "Side Event" project, which is intended to be organized in the form of a fair where Albania's presentation stand will be open from July 8-17 in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to the document published by the Public Procurement Agency, this interior design project represents Albania at an international fair in Geneva, using an architectural approach that combines traditional Albanian elements with modern design. It aims to create a unique experience for visitors, reflecting national identity through shapes, materials and lighting.
The design is based on the Albanian national identity, using the national flag's colors of red and black as the main elements of the palette.
This design manages to harmonize tradition and modernity, conveying a strong image of Albania on the international stage of the Geneva fair. It not only showcases Albanian cultural wealth, but also creates an attractive and inspiring experience for visitors.
Two artisans will also participate in this fair, where Albania is performing for the first time at the premises of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The artisans will present filigree products and traditional Albanian clothing.
Also, the stand will have a monitor that will broadcast promotional materials about Albania's geographical indications. The stand dedicated to Albania will be built through an architectural project, as every detail will represent the culture, tradition, folk and nature of Albania.
These videos will be produced to be broadcast to an audience of Intellectual Property professionals worldwide, thus making our country's offering package, in terms of geographical indications, even clearer. The inserts will be a clear reflection of what Albania offers and its real potential.
Meanwhile, the opening ceremony will take place on July 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM, which coincides with the first days of the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Meanwhile, the estimated value of this project is 14 million lek.
