TIA: Airport Council International security review successfully completed!
Tirana International Airport (TIA) has announced via social media that the security review by the Airport Council International (ACI) APEX program has been successfully completed.
In a published announcement, TIA announced that ACI's APEX program helps airports optimize their safety, cybersecurity and environmental measures to facilitate compliance with ICAO regulations and standards.
"Industry experts conducted an assessment of airport operations with personnel interviews, documentation analysis, and activity review to confirm compliance of security measures with international standards and recommended practices," the announcement reads.
According to TIA, the findings will help in efforts to ensure the highest levels of safety for passengers, airlines and airport stakeholders.
