Temperatures up to -9 °C in the north of the country – ARRSH informs on the current situation of road axes!
The Albanian Road Authority has announced that snowfall continued overnight in the North and Southeast of the country without causing traffic problems.
According to the announcement, temperatures have dropped to -9 °C in mountainous areas, while snowfall has occurred in Valbona, Bogë-Theth, Pukë-Fushë Arrëz-Kalimash, Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Klos-Peshkopi, Kukës-Ura Zapodit, Kukës-Bushtricë, Qafë-Thanë, Boboshticë-Dardhe and Voskopoje.
The National Road Safety Agency informs that snow removal vehicles have been working to clear the roads of snow and distribute salt.
The ARA also calls on drivers to exercise increased caution while driving due to the moisture on the roads, and to equip themselves with winter tires and chains when traveling towards roads with the presence of snow.
