After a difficult night where fires approached the town of Delvina, the situation appears calmer this morning.
Firefighters and army forces have managed to prevent the spread of flames near residential areas throughout the night.
Meanwhile, fires are currently burning in the surrounding mountains and aerial intervention has begun since the early hours of the morning.
The situation in Gramsh was also critical, but escalation was avoided and today, forest areas around the city continue to burn.
It is learned that the flames of the previous day burned 39 homes in 6 villages, where residents have already been evacuated.
The situation is also critical in the Berat district, where in Poliçan, firefighting forces and emergency teams are trying to bring the flames under control.
