Fire situation in the country/AKMC: Four active fires, ten extinguished!
The National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC has provided information today regarding the fire situation in the country.
According to data from the National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC, from 09:00, date 03.07.2025, to 20:30, date 03.07.2025, 14 fires were reported.
Of these, ten fires have been extinguished and four are still active. After continuous work by operational forces on the ground, it was possible to completely isolate and extinguish the fires in:
· Byshek village, Shushicë administrative unit, Elbasan municipality;
· In the village of Vehçam, Hotolisht administrative unit, Librazhd municipality;
· Former cement factory, administrative unit No. 1, Vlora municipality;
· Neighborhood No. 6 Kavaja, Kavaja municipality;
· Yzberisht neighborhood, Kashar administrative unit, Tirana municipality;
· Rraboshte village, Kallmet administrative unit, Lezha municipality;
· The village of Moravë, Otllak administrative unit, Berat municipality;
· The village of Rrencë, the administrative unit of Gur i Zi, the municipality of Shkodra;
· Ashtë village, Bushat administrative unit, Vau-Dejës municipality;
· In the village of Hoçisht, Hoçisht administrative unit, Devoll municipality;

Vlora Region
Between the village of Grazhdan, administrative unit of Livadhja and the village of Malçan, administrative unit of Dhivër, municipality of Finiq, the fire that broke out yesterday continues to be active on the Shedenik Mountain above the village of Malcan, in an area of pine forest at a very remote distance and impossible to reach on foot. The work of the forces on the ground has eliminated the danger to the homes. The fire is being monitored remotely by 1 fire engine with 3 personnel in the village of Malcan.
Elbasan District
On 03.07.2025, work continued to extinguish the fire at the waste dump in the municipality of Elbasan. 6 fire trucks with 18 personnel from the Local Fire Department Service of the municipalities of Elbasan, Cërrik, Librazhd, Tirana and Peqin, 12 heavy-duty vehicles, 5 dump trucks, 2 excavators and 1 tracked tractor from the municipality of Elbasan were deployed at the scene today. The Armed Forces deployed: 4 fire trucks, 4 dump trucks, 1 tracked tractor, 35 troops, 1 group of experts for measuring air pollution and 1 Cougar helicopter. During the day, work was mainly done with the disposal of inert materials and the encapsulation of waste. The fire continues to remain problematic.
Kukes District
In the mountainous area between the villages of Gjinaj and Domaj, in the administrative unit of Gjinaj, Has Municipality, a fire has broken out in a pine forest area. On the ground, 10 employees of the Forest Service, 5 forces of the Has MZSH with 1 vehicle, 4 police forces, 7 municipal forces and 10 volunteers are engaged in extinguishing the fire. The difficult terrain and the wind are keeping the fire active.
Tirana District
In the village of Bulticë, Vaqarr administrative unit, Tirana municipality, at 13:30, a fire broke out in an area of bushes and brambles. 1 fire truck with 4 officers from the Tirana Fire Department and 3 police forces went to the scene. The unfavorable terrain makes it difficult for vehicles to pass and the fire continues to remain active.
