Heavy rainfall has caused problems with electricity supply in several areas of the country. According to a report from the structures of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, there are currently 17 feeders disconnected due to bad weather, while the Kajan substation in Belsh has been out of service as a result of atmospheric discharges, causing damage to 10 kV equipment.

Work has begun on the ground to replace damaged switches and assets, while the situation in the transmission network appears stable. All 400 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV lines are in normal operation, and line and substation brigades are on standby.

In the drinking water supply sector, authorities report a largely normalized situation. In Lezha, the supply is normal and there is no presence of surface water in the city. In Durrës, the situation is towards normalization, with significant improvement in the areas of Kënetë and Nishtulla. While in Kukës, the water supply sources continue to be turbid, due to inflows and the impact of rainfall.
