Albania is equipped with the "Javelin" missile system - Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu: It increases national security

Albania has been equipped with the Javelin anti-tank missile system, one of the most advanced defense systems used by NATO member countries. Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, announced that the arrival of this system is the result of close cooperation with the strategic ally, the United States of America.
"The arrival of the Javelin systems, thanks to cooperation with our strategic ally the USA, strengthens the defense capabilities of the Albanian Armed Forces, increases deterrence, interoperability with NATO and national security", said the Minister of Defense.
The "Javelin" system is considered a key element for land defense, significantly increasing the ability of the Land Force to confront advanced threats and operate in accordance with Alliance standards.
Albania has ordered the "Javelin" system as part of military cooperation programs with the United States, through foreign military sales mechanisms.
