Kosovo's foreign trade, declining - Exports in November 2025 cover imports by 15.7%

The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has recently published foreign trade data for November 2025. Exports of goods reached a value of 87.7 million euros, with an annual decrease of 9.5%. Meanwhile, goods worth 557.6 million euros were imported for this month, with a decrease of 1.6% compared to a year earlier.
According to data on the main export groups: 20.3% are base metals and articles thereof; 15.4% are mineral products; 11.2% are plastics, rubber and articles thereof; 11.1% are prepared foods, beverages and tobacco; 10.2% are various manufactured articles; 6.4% are machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment; etc.
Meanwhile, according to data on the main import groups: 13.3% is made up of machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment; 13.1% is made up of prepared foods, beverages and tobacco; 13.0% is made up of mineral products; 12.4% is made up of means of transport; 9.1% is made up of basic metals and articles thereof; etc.
Kosovo's exports to EU countries amounted to 26.6 million euros, or about 30.3% of total exports, with a decrease of 20.9%. The main partners for the export of goods to the EU were: Germany (10.7%), Italy (2.9) and the Netherlands (2.7%), etc.
Kosovo's imports from EU countries were around 240.3 million euros, or 43.1% of total imports, with a decrease of 0.9%. The imports with the highest share were from: Germany (14.6%), Italy (5.3%), Poland (3.8%), etc.
Kosovo's exports to CEFTA countries reached 42.8 million euros, or 48.8% of total exports, with a decrease of (-6.1%). The main export partners from CEFTA countries were: Albania (18.2%), North Macedonia (16.2%), Serbia (7.0%), Montenegro (6.0%), etc.
Imports from CEFTA countries reached 76.5 million Euros, or 13.7% of total imports, with an increase of 6.2%. The countries with the highest share in imports were: North Macedonia (4.5%), Albania (3.9%), Serbia (3.6%).
