How many individuals have been employed by the Labor Offices? - 1,311 people received unemployment benefits in 8 months
During the period January-August of this year, the employment service registered a total of 17,396 job seekers in relevant offices across the country. This number includes individuals from all age groups and communities, who are looking for employment opportunities and improving their economic situation.
Of this total, a significant portion, a full 10,121 women and girls, have found employment opportunities. This fact is an important indicator of efforts to promote gender equality and the inclusion of women in the labor market, giving them a more active role in the country's economic development.
Another important category is young people up to the age of 29, with 6,797 of them employed during this period. The inclusion of young people in the labor market remains a top priority for institutions, as this age group represents the future workforce and a key factor for long-term economic growth.
Within the framework of social support, 1,311 people are beneficiaries of unemployment benefits, an aid offered to them while waiting to find a job.
Additionally, 1,320 members of the economic assistance scheme are included in the employment statistics, indicating efforts to integrate those who depend on social assistance into the labor market.
In terms of the inclusion of ethnic groups and minorities, 797 people from the Roma and Egyptian communities have been registered and assisted in the employment process. While for people with disabilities, their number registered with the employment service is 291, aiming at their active integration into the labor market and the creation of equal employment opportunities.
