How many immigrants have registered to vote? - CEC: As of Monday noon, over 29 thousand have been rejected
This year, in the parliamentary elections, Albanian citizens working and living abroad will have the opportunity to participate through voting by registering on the PER Platform.
Referring to the Central Election Commission figures, the number of requests has reached 84 thousand 195 by Monday noon. However, 50,862 voters have been approved, while referring to gender, men are the ones who have shown more interest in voting, reaching 51,979, while the other gender has reached 32,216 in the number of registrations to vote.
To focus on the number of age groups, the highest number of registrants are in the age groups of 26-35 and 36-45.
According to the data, a significant number of immigrants were also rejected, for various reasons. Meanwhile, the CEC estimates that 29,471 were rejected. Translating the data geographically, the highest number of registrations are for immigrants living in Italy, followed by those in Greece and Germany.
While the requests by region, the highest number of applications are from the Tirana region, followed by those from Fier, Korça, Durrës, etc.
