The number of complaints about tenders at the Public Procurement Commission is increasing - How much money will be deposited in the state budget?
Complaints filed by Economic Operators against tender procedures with the Public Procurement Commission have been increasing. According to the February Bulletin, a total of 75 complaints were registered with the commission, but what were the most complained about?
Referring to the complaints according to the stage of the process for which the complaint was filed, they are divided into 45 for Bid Evaluation, 29 for Standard Tender Documents and 1 for others. However, complaints according to the type of contract are divided into 45 for goods, 27 for services, and 3 for public works.
The highest number of complaints is from local government, from which 35 such complaints were counted, 11 from central government, 25 from joint-stock companies and 4 independent. Meanwhile, the highest number of complaints by region is led by the region of Tirana, followed by that of Elbasan, Durrës, etc.
But what are the financial fees for February?
According to the Bulletin, financial fees collected as guarantees for procurement procedures are estimated at around 17.1 million lekë, while financial fees returned to Economic Operators at the conclusion of the review of procurement procedures are estimated at 15.1 million lekë, while financial fees to be paid to the State Budget at the conclusion of the review of procurement procedures are 5.6 million lekë in total.
