During a ceremony held for the achievement of this figure, the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku said that the set objectives were exceeded, although this industry was one of the hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, growth is expected for the next year as well, given that Rinas will increase in category, while flights are also expected to start from Vlora airport.
As he focused on the need that civil aviation has for training young professionals, Balluku also spoke about the Academy that is expected to open soon.
The 10 millionth passenger was the citizen from the Netherlands, Martin Von der Mei, who was also given a symbolic gift.
