Government, financing for families for heating and cooling - 4 support schemes for the installation of panels, pumps or central heating are approved
Albanian families will be helped with budget funds to install renewable energy sources for heating and cooling.
The government has approved 4 support schemes, which pave the way for financing measures for saving energy from solar panels for heating water with storage, small biomass plants, heat pumps and central heating and cooling.
Meanwhile, it is specified that the support will be for end customers who intend to replace existing technologies that use fossil resources, such as fuels.
According to the decision, for solar water heating systems the financing will include 70% of the investment value, calculated for a maximum investment value of 140,000, while for biomass or biofuel boilers, the financing will be 20% of the investment value for a maximum investment value of 250,000.
Also, it is determined that for heat pumps, 20% of the investment value will be covered, for a maximum investment value of 600,000 ALL, while for central heating and cooling in apartments, financing will include 30% of the investment value for a maximum investment value. of 3,000,000 ALL.
The government's decision also defines the criteria that families will have to fulfill to benefit from these schemes, which includes, among other things, the submission of the energy audit report, except when it applies to solar water heating panels.
Also, it is specified that in cases where solar panels are applied, the beneficiaries will be families that have a relatively high energy consumption, which must be greater than 400 kWh per month.
