Report published/ All assets and material evidence under the administration of AAPSK
1799 assets or material evidence have been received by the end of 2024 and are managed by the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets. Referring to the data published in the Agency's Annual Report, the majority of the assets seized or confiscated are immovable assets. Thus, according to the categorization, apartments, buildings, facilities, or garages are 356 seized assets and 278 confiscated.
Furthermore, 90 properties, including land, fields, forests or pastures, were seized and 105 were confiscated.
Regarding movable assets, which include vehicles, motor vehicles, marine vehicles, or other assets, there are 125 seized assets and 31 confiscated. Also, AAPSK has under administration a considerable number of commercial entities, where 104 of them are confiscated, awaiting the completion of legal proceedings and 20 are seized.
The AAPSK also administers a considerable number of bank accounts, or even monetary amounts. Thus, there are 385 such assets seized and 77 confiscated. Furthermore, the material evidence under the administration of the AAPSK is 228.
A considerable number of assets and material evidence have been taken under administration by the AAPSK during 2024 alone, a full 812 of them. Meanwhile, in the figures published in the annual report that provides complete transparency and sheds light on the institution's work throughout 2024, the AAPSK informs that there are 763 assets/material evidence that have not yet been taken over by the Agency for various reasons.
Upon assuming office in October 2024, Chief Administrator Risena Xhaja ordered the implementation of a complete inventory process of assets and material evidence under administration by all administrators of AAPSK. During this process, the publication of two catalogs was also carried out, one for confiscated real estate and the other for sequestered ones. The process will continue with the digitalization and establishment of a digital register of all assets under the administration of AAPSK, which will be subject to updating whenever changes are made.
