Urban Renaissance 2.0 to be presented in July - Rama: It will focus on investments in the water supply and sewage network

The national program "Urban Renaissance 2.0", which is expected to be presented in the first ten days of July, will have as one of its main priorities the completion of remaining investments in the water supply and sewage network throughout the country.
During a meeting with local government leaders, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the new program represents a broad strategic initiative, which aims to support the development of communities through interventions in several key sectors.
According to Rama, "Urban Renaissance 2.0" will be officially presented at a national conference with local governments, which will take place in the first days of July.
The Prime Minister announced that the program is being drafted by central institutions in cooperation with municipalities, under the coordination of the Ministry of Local Government.
He emphasized that one of the main objectives of the initiative is to complete investments in segments of the water supply and sewage network that have not yet been covered, through a comprehensive approach.
According to Rama, the interventions will aim to fill existing gaps in infrastructure, guaranteeing the extension of the network even in areas that have so far remained outside of investments, with the aim of improving services for citizens.
