The reconstruction of the substation in Pogradec/Balluku is completed: Better supply for 20 thousand subscribers!
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku announced today that in the city of Pogradec, work has been completed on the reconstruction of the electrical substation, which affects the entire city, as well as the tourist areas of Drilon and Tushemisht.
"The completion of the reconstruction works of the Pogradec substation, an investment by the OSSH, with a threefold increased capacity, responds to the growing demand and development of the area with 20 thousand subscribers," said Balluku.
The intervention carried out by the Distribution System Operator (DSO) made it possible to modernize this substation, also increasing its capacity and power to respond to the development of the area.
Until yesterday, this substation had a capacity of 17 megawatts and from today there will be a substation with 50 megawatts installed capacity for a better supply for 20 thousand subscribers.
