What happened in the foreign exchange market today?
The US dollar has suffered a significant drop in value this morning, as compared to yesterday it was bought today for 92.4 lek and sold for 93.9 lek according to the local exchange rate.
The European currency, although it started the day on the European stock exchange increasing and at a maximum value of 3 months in relation to the lek, did not have significant movement in the quote, being bought today at 98.8 lek and sold at 99.5 lek.
The Swiss franc also experienced a drop in value this morning, as compared to Tuesday, it was bought today for 103.8 lek and sold for 104.8 lek.
Referring to the domestic foreign exchange market, the British pound also started this morning negatively as it was bought today at 118.6 lek and sold at 119.6 lek.
