The large Durana technological park, on the rise - Development plan approved, fiscal and customs regime facilitated
The government has approved the Detailed Development Plan, which paves the way for the creation and operation of Durana Tech Park, as the first technology park in Albania. Everything was announced by the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja after the meeting of the Council of Ministers.
"We aim to position it as a powerful center of economic and innovative development, which will naturally compete in the region and globally, bringing strategic advantages and sustainable economic development to the country. The goal of Durana Tech Park is to create a special economic and technological environment, which offers favorable conditions for the development of advanced industries. Its focus is to promote domestic and foreign investments and create a territory with a simplified fiscal and customs regime ," said Gonxha.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama described the establishment of this technology park as a space that will enable the attraction of many companies and start-ups.
"Durana Tech Park" will be located in Xhafzotaj, Durrës, and according to previously announced information, the types of activities that will take place in this park are software design and testing.
This includes, but is not limited to, the analysis of software system requirements, the design of architecture and detailed design of these systems; software systems programming, coding, installation, design and development of communication systems, security systems, development of migration systems, etc. It also provides for the analysis of processing systems and the analysis of large amounts of data, called Big Data.
