Updating business contracts/ FSHU: Private entities to cooperate for fair
The Universal Service Provider, FSHU, part of OSHEE Group, continues the process of updating electricity contracts for all customer categories in order to change the tariff according to the new energy payment system.

The FSHU has set up field control groups that have identified private entities that were carrying out business activities, mainly services, and that were being charged 8.5-9.5 lek/kWh as household customers, not 14 lek/kWh, the approved rate for business customers.

FSHU, part of OSHEE Group, invites all businesses, non-profit organizations (NPOs), as well as natural persons acting as businesses, to verify and update their energy contract, if they are still registered as household customers.

Why is this process necessary?

The process of verifying energy contracts for private entities is necessary for fair pricing based on the new payment system according to business activity.

Incorrect classification in the system has resulted from old records, lack of updates, or changes in the actual use of the facility.

Through this process, FSHU calls on entities to raise awareness and cooperate with field control groups, with the aim of changing the tariff from family to non-family, avoiding penalties.

Who is involved in this update process?

The updating process includes all entities that carry out economic activities on behalf of a natural or legal person, who use energy for business purposes (offices, shops, workshops, service centers, etc.), or who are registered as NGOs, but in practice consume energy for functions similar to those of economic entities.

This process does not affect customers who are truly household consumers and use energy only for residential purposes.

The process is simple and includes verifying the current electricity contract (whether it is household or business), completing a request for a change of category, attaching the relevant documentation that proves the economic nature of the activity (NIPT, CKB extract, etc.).

Updating contracts can be easily done at the counters of the FSHU Customer Care Centers, part of the OSHEE Group, or online, through the online platform, the company's official website and the OSHEE application.

FSHU and OSHEE Group call on all entities not to postpone this process and to take advantage of the opportunity to update data and change tariffs, guaranteeing a more regular and functional system for everyone.
