"One of the largest wind energy projects" - Deputy Prime Minister Balluku: It will be located in Tropoja, financed by an American company
The second day of the ambassadors' conference is underway, with the theme "Albania's economic priorities and key projects".
During her speech, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Economy, Belinda Balluku, said: "Our country has based its energy production solely on hydropower sources. In these 6 years, we have managed to increase the country's production capacities by 30%, based on a new energy source, such as the sun.
In the coming months, we are preparing for one of the largest wind energy production projects in Europe, for the wind farm located in the Tropoja area, which has initiated all authorization procedures, financed by one of the largest American companies.
"This work will add another green component to our energy crown. Albania is currently working to diversify its portfolio of several green sources."
