174,488 electoral envelopes arrive from the diaspora - Which countries have sent the most votes from Albanian emigrants?
This Friday is the deadline for all Albanian emigrants living in Greece, but not on the Greek islands, to submit their electoral envelopes to DHL postal service points. But what are the Central Election Commission's figures so far regarding the envelopes received by Albanian emigrants?
Out of 245,935 envelopes sent, 227,097 electoral envelopes have been received by diaspora voters so far, while the Central Election Commission counts 174,488 electoral envelopes that have arrived. As the final hours of the delivery of electoral envelopes are approaching, 70,496 envelopes have arrived from Italy, out of 91,216 sent. Greece is the country that has encountered problems and delays in this first diaspora vote process, but out of 68,380 envelopes sent, 39,890 electoral envelopes have arrived at the CEC.
19,872 electoral envelopes have arrived from Germany out of 25,491 sent. But there is a small difference between those sent and those that have arrived with the United States of America, where so far 15,924 envelopes have arrived, out of 20,646 of the total sent.
Countries such as the United Kingdom, where 11,303 envelopes have arrived, France with 3,749 envelopes, and Canada with 2,853 envelopes arriving at the CEC, are progressing at a positive pace.
We remind you that the deadline for the arrival of the diaspora vote is 7:00 PM on May 11th.
