The past year marked a record in terms of vehicles imported from the Far East.
Of the nearly 100,000 vehicles registered, about 18.5% of them came from South Korea, causing the Korean car market to surpass traditional markets, such as the German, Italian or American markets, in the last months of the year.
On the other hand, although around 100 thousand vehicles were registered, the number of cars that arrived at the port of Durres was higher, because this port serves not only the domestic market, but also countries in the region.
Cheaper prices compared to other countries have made the Korean market very popular with other countries.
This comes as a result of the Far Eastern country's policies to implement electric cars, causing owners of combustion cars to sell them abroad at a low price.
