Modernization of oil production - Albpetrol, 78.8 million tender for the intelligent system
The state-owned oil company in Albania "Albpetrol" JSC has announced the opening of the tender for the implementation of Smart Solution in the oil extraction infrastructure for a period of two years. The estimated value of this project is 78 million and 804 thousand lekë.
The main activity of "Albpetrol" includes the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, as well as the exploration, extraction and trading of crude oil inside and outside Albania.
The goal of implementing this project is to improve the monitoring of oil levels in deposits and eliminate some manual processes that cause delays and errors in calculations.
This includes the implementation of an intelligent system that enables real-time monitoring of oil levels, using low-power sensors. The use of LoRaWAN technology ensures reliable data transmission over distances of up to 15 km in rural areas, using reduced energy and offering high data security.
According to the document, this will improve monitoring of well uptime, to avoid production losses and maintenance delays.
Also, another goal is to improve supply and demand forecasts, as well as optimize situation management in the oil sales sector.
The intelligent infrastructure for monitoring data of Oil Production Centers will be implemented in several sectors of "Albpetrol" Sh.A.
According to the document, the project will improve operational efficiency, increase safety and support strategic decision-making, by providing accurate and real-time data for oil monitoring and management in all sectors involved.
