With the votes of the majority, the parliamentary Committee of Economy and Finance approved in principle the draft budget for 2025.
The opposition MPs voted against, stressing that next year's budget does not provide a solution to the increase in pensions, although this category is significantly affected by the increase in prices.
During the discussions, the deputies agreed that the pension reform is vital and that its undertaking should be accelerated.
Meanwhile, as far as the next year's budget is concerned, the majority MPs requested an increase in funds for cyber security.

In the following days, the draft budget will be discussed item by item, to then move to the marathon session for its approval.
