Small microcoders build big projects - School students in the north: We are

Projects for security, clean energy production for school facilities and the development of agrotourism in the mountainous areas of the country.

These are some of the innovative ideas created by high school students in northern Albania. The young people presented their works at an event organized in Tirana, demonstrating their talent and creativity in the field of technology.

The realization of these projects was made possible thanks to the use of Micro:bit devices – an educational microcontroller, designed to help children and beginners learn programming and electronics in a fun and interactive way.

Through these technologies, students not only develop their coding skills, but also build a strong foundation for their careers in the field of innovation and technology.

This activity was attended by 16 high schools from Kukës, Mati, Bulqiza, Dibra and Tropoja, which were established with the financial support of the British government.

This program aims to empower young people, equipping them with new skills that can help them towards a safer and more successful future.
