The registration deadline for voters from the diaspora ends/ CEC: Over 230 thousand requests approved!
The Central Election Commission announces that the deadline for Albanian citizens living abroad to apply to the Electronic Registration Platform (PER) to participate in the May 11 parliamentary elections ended on Tuesday evening, March 4, at 24:00.
According to CEC data, there are 294,155 unique registration requests, of which 231,900 were approved while 42,033 were rejected.
In total, there are 365,166 registration requests, of which 344,891 have been reviewed, 112,991 have been rejected and 20,223 are under review.
The registration requests come from various countries around the world. The highest number of approved registration requests comes from Italy with 86,527, followed by Greece with 62,597, Germany with 24,436 and the USA with 20,094.
As for the regions, the highest number of approved registration requests is from the Tirana region with 49,440, followed by Fier with 30,702 and Durrës with 23,802.
