Government meeting, Media Agency publishes approved decisions and draft laws
The Media and Information Agency published this afternoon the decisions and draft laws approved at today's government meeting on 15.07.2026. The announcement states that the Council of Ministers decided:
-Approval in principle of the agreement between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Slovenia on employment and social security.
-Authorization of the Minister of Justice to negotiate directly with the international entity G37 Chambers, for the provision of consultancy services, for the continuous monitoring of the implementation of priority recommendations in the fight against crime, for the year 2026.
-The procedure for public announcement of cultural assets discovered at sea.
-The use of the Reconstruction Fund to finance the reconstruction of individual housing in the municipalities of Kurbin and Shijak.
-Opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
Several draft laws were also approved at the same time:
-Draft law “On some amendments to law No. 9662, dated 18.12.2006, “On banks in the Republic of Albania”.
-Draft law “On some amendments and additions to Law No. 133/2013, “On the payment system”.
-Draft law "On some amendments and additions to Law No. 55/2020 "On payment services".
