Over 32 thousand applications for agricultural funds - Deadline until June 26, 52 million euros available

Nearly 32,300 farmers have applied so far to benefit from agricultural support schemes for the year 2026, for which the total fund made available is 52 million euros.
This year, the scheme has important innovations, as the amount of financing for livestock and beekeeping has been increased and the ceiling on the number of herds that farmers must have to benefit has been halved, which means that there will be more livestock and beekeepers who will benefit, compared to previous years. Meanwhile, the oil scheme will not be applied as in previous years, but will be covered through a 10% refund of sales invoices.
Another innovation is the financing of 100 euros per hectare for an area planted with agricultural crops, with no less than 3 hectares.
Specifically, livestock farmers with no less than 5 heads of cows and/or heifers will receive 12 thousand lek/head, for the registered basic herd. 1500 lek/head will be given for the registered basic herd for each farmer with no less than 50 heads of sheep/or goats. For beekeeping, 2 thousand lek will be given per hive, per applicant, with no less than 25 hives.
For the first time, support has been introduced for registered sows and/or gilts, in the amount of up to 7 thousand lek/head for applicants with no less than 5 sows and/or gilts. For the portion over 100 heads, the benefit amount is reduced by 50%.
The government has determined that 2.5 billion lek from the total fund will go to the investment scheme, which includes supporting young farmers with a 10 thousand euro grant, as well as financing for the construction/reconstruction of stables and/or equipment to improve conditions. The benefit amount is 70% of the value of tax invoices, but not more than 3 million lek per entity.
For equipment, machinery and agricultural tools for the mechanization and modernization of work processes on agricultural and livestock farms, the benefit amount is 50% of the value of tax invoices, but not more than 500 thousand lek per entity and not less than 50 thousand lek per entity.
To benefit from support measures, the main condition for applicants is the current payment of social security contributions.
The application deadline is June 26th through eAlbania, while for measures 10-12 it is done by submitting physical files to AZHBR.
