Support for women's entrepreneurship - Minister Ibrahimaj: 5% bonus on grants for women's startups

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, announces that the 2026 grant call for startups provides for a 5% bonus on the evaluation points for projects that meet the specified conditions.
This bonus will be applied to startups that are led by girls or women, or that have at least 51% girls and women in their team composition. According to Minister Ibrahimaj, this bonus aims to encourage and strengthen the role of girls and women in entrepreneurship, as well as to promote the development of innovative ideas related to the green and digital economy.
Also, if the project meets these criteria at the end of the evaluation process, a 5% bonus is added to the points obtained from the evaluation criteria. For example, if an application receives 60 points from the committee, the result also includes the 5% bonus.
Another important criterion for benefiting from this bonus is that the startup's main activity provides innovative solutions that contribute to the development of the green economy and/or the digital economy. This is a support opportunity for startups under Grant 2026.
Likewise, this initiative aims to encourage projects that use technology, innovation, and sustainable practices to bring about economic development and address environmental challenges.
Applicants must submit their application on the e-Albania platform. The Agency for the Development of Startups and Innovation will monitor the projects and ensure that they meet the set objectives.
