Exchange rate/ What is happening to the US Dollar?
The US dollar continued to follow a downward trend this Wednesday, recording points again from yesterday as it was bought today at 80.5 lek and sold at 81.6 lek.
According to the local exchange rate, the European currency was bought today for 96.1 lek and sold for 96.8 lek compared to the day before, not marking any significant change in value today either.
The Swiss franc also appears stable this morning compared to Tuesday, as it was bought this morning at 105 lek and sold at 106.1 lek, thus not marking strong price movements.
The British pound, meanwhile, has weakened, losing value since the previous day, being bought today at 109.9 lek and being sold at 111 lek, referring to the domestic foreign exchange market.
