Prime Minister Rama: May 9 found Albania closer than ever to the European Union

In his weekly podcast notes, Prime Minister Rama has listed yesterday's Europe Day celebrations as the top priority. The Prime Minister writes:
"For the first time in many decades, the path to the European Union no longer seems like a distant horizon, but like a peak now visible to the eye and achievable in the time we have available."
Negotiations have advanced at a rapid pace, chapters have been opened in record time, the relationship with the European Union is being built day by day with concrete results and now the European Commission and the member states through their ambassadors are at a key stage of the process where they are discussing the Commission's report, which underlines that Albania has completed all its homework and is ready to enter the phase of closing the chapters by passing through intermediate milestones and all this has not come by chance, it has come with work, it has come with results, it has come from a transformational process that continues in every sector.
Justice reform, administrative transformation, digitalization of services, modernization of the economy, investments and transformations in energy, infrastructure, new standards in strategic sectors are not isolated parts and no list of words behind which there is little content, but are links in an increasingly solid chain of building the European state of Albanians.
Therefore, May 9th is not only a celebration of Europe for us, but it is also the moment when we breathe with a legitimate sense of pride and move forward to reach the peak that is now more easily achievable and only with commitment, commitment, commitment and will, will, will.
