International conference on pension system reform in Albania
An international conference on pension system reform in Albania is taking place in Tirana.
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, stated that " increase with bonuses is not a long-term solution. If we do not increase productivity, if we do not reduce informality, if we do not increase jobs with high salaries, we will have insufficiency. Individuals should not choose lower salaries, but choose the private sector with higher salaries. Business should become aware and offer citizens supplementary pension policies. We are working to implement a series of social housing programs and are reviewing policies with municipalities."
