INSTAT: Nearly 56% of exports go to EU countries!
According to the INSTAT report, in the period January - June 2025, exports to EU countries accounted for 67.2% of total exports and imports from EU countries accounted for 52.2% of total imports.
The main trading partners in this period are: Italy (27.1%), China (9.1%), Greece (7.6%) and Turkey (7.1%).
While in June 2025, according to INSTAT, exports to EU countries accounted for 67.4% of total exports and imports from EU countries accounted for 50.7% of imports.
The main trading partners during this month are: Italy (26.5%), China (11.4%), Greece (7.3%) and Germany (7.0%).
Exports of goods in this six-month period reached the value of 203 billion lek, increasing by 2.1%, while imports of goods reached the value of 431 billion lek, decreasing by 2.0%, compared to a year earlier.
While in June 2025, exports of goods reached the value of 35 billion lek, increasing by 1.9% compared to the same period a year earlier and by 0.6% compared to May 2025.
Meanwhile, imports of goods reached 77 billion lek, decreasing by 0.2% compared to a year earlier and by 1.5% compared to May 2025.
