Rama: European standards already in most schools in Kamza
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared this morning on social media footage from the new 9-year school "Angela Merkel" in Kamzë, which opens its doors in September to welcome over 1,300 students, adding that its European standards have already been set for around 400 new schools that have been built across the country.
Educational infrastructures transformed according to the best models of European schools have been a reality for years in the country's cities, where the process is continuing with new investments that are currently in various stages of development.
The new school will welcome 1,300 students with 38 comfortable classrooms, 10 laboratories, a library, sports fields and recreational spaces, designed to also serve as a social hub for the community.
The school is located 800 meters from the city center and is formed by 5 different levels, one underground and 4 above ground, while 60 meters away from the school, a pedestrian overpass has been placed for the safe passage of students.
The new school adds to the chain of 18 reconstructed and rehabilitated schools in this municipality, with European standards, expanding capacities for the community of Kamza and surrounding areas.
