Ibrahimaj and Malaj, official meeting between representatives of the two ministries to strengthen economic cooperation Albania-Poland

A high-level delegation from Albania held an official meeting with representatives of the Polish Ministry of Finance, with a focus on strengthening economic cooperation, increasing investments, and finalizing important bilateral agreements.
The Albanian delegation, led by the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, and Petrit Malaj, Minister of Finance, held an official meeting with the Minister of Finance of Poland, Andrzej Domanski, and other senior representatives of the Polish government.
During this meeting, the strategic importance of economic relations between Albania and Poland, which have significantly deepened in recent years, was emphasized. Several sustainable indicators of this cooperation were presented in the bilateral discussions, including:
· Increase in imports from Poland by 9.9% in 2025, reaching a value of 216 million euros.
· Increasing Albanian exports to Poland by 6.3% in 2025, reaching 26 million euros.
· The increase in the stock of Polish investments in Albania, which in the third quarter of 2025 reached 101 million euros.
· Expansion of the Polish business presence, with 110 companies with 100% Polish capital and 19 with joint capital.
The initiative to establish the Albanian Development Bank (ADB) was also discussed, a project that is being built on the model of the Polish development bank, which has been praised for its successes in supporting economic development.
Representatives of both countries expressed their commitment to continue intensive cooperation between technical teams and relevant institutions with the aim of finalizing and effectively implementing joint agreements and projects.
