New entrance to Shkodra/Balluku: Laying of asphalt layers has begun!
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, announced today on social networks that the laying of asphalt layers has begun at the construction site for the new entrance to Shkodra to facilitate vehicle traffic.
The new project for the entrance to the city of Shkodra, financed by the Albanian Development Fund and supported by the government, aims to transform this area into a multifunctional and recreational space.
This project includes the creation of a 17-18 hectare park, which will contain sports facilities, pedestrian and bicycle paths, panoramic points to enjoy views of the lake, as well as spaces for activities and concerts.
Part of the project are also new sports fields and a new pier, which will be connected to other piers in Shiroka and Zogaj.
