4 more chapters of negotiations with the EU open, Prime Minister Rama: Albania will not stop
The number of chapters opened on Albania's path to EU integration this Tuesday reaches 28. Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the news through a post on his social networks. "On Tuesday, September 16, the Danish Presidency of the EU invites us, in the presence of the Foreign Ministers of all member states, to open 4 more chapters of the accession negotiations, which are added to the 24 chapters that we have opened in just 11 months - an absolute record for the speed of a negotiation process.
"The Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, on areas of vital importance, such as Transport, Energy, Trans-European Networks and Environment, are now on the table. Another milestone was set on the path towards Albania's 2030 EU membership," Prime Minister Rama wrote in his FB post.
